The second step is choosing an agent. This is an individual who represents you in all transactions with the Secretary of State. This person(s) must be available at all times within the state during normal working days.
The third step is the filing of the application. This involves completing the appropriate forms for your organization. These forms include information such as the name and address of the organization and its agent. Other required information includes the number of directors and the intended purpose of the company.
Filing fees start at a minimum of $145 for normal processing time of approximately three weeks. This time can be reduced by using the express service to within 1 to 5 working days at an extra cost. Final filing fees are based on the number of shares distributed.
