Features of Website Graphic Design

Graphic designing is now a day necessary and required by every business field. As IT plays a vital in business today. When we talk about IT so the displaying mode of a business in IT is the website. And these websites must be well designed to attract a customer towards it.

Web designing is an essential aspect of an ecommerce business. Like a shop must be well maintained so when the customer visits it he must be impressed by its neatness and other qualities. So must be the website as when a person visits it he must be impressed by the designs and stuff it is showing.

In the beginning days in internet, that is when it was invented the website consisted of a very basic markup language the ability to link to another by the hyperlinks technology, some formatting options. The hyper link method was one of the basic things which made people more attracted towards it as compared to a normal medium of link and the web design characterized it in the designing section. Due to this special feature of the World Wide Web the customers were attracted towards it online sales grew. This made the ecommerce easier.

As the market grew the awareness grew. People started getting to know the importance of a web page and its design.

As the web designing then grew the markup language which was used became more complexed. Things like tables which were used for tabular displaying were then used as invisible layout devices. As cascading (CSS) came into the market the table based layout is regarded as outdated.

It changed further when new software came into the market by the name of macro media flash player. This further changed the meaning of graphic designing for the firm. Giving the designers more scope to work.

Basics of a web design can be stated as:

  • Suitability

  • Colors, designs, and other features which are displayed on the web page must be very suitable according to the business. That is that it should be according to the taste and choice the company is providing to its customers.

  • Digital use

  • There must be any kind of a digital matter on the web page which is the necessity of today's world as the technology has advanced so the web pages also.

  • Community

  • There must be a community that is that there must links to other similar website so that if the customer is not satisfied with the website so he can move in to another.

  • To the point

  • The matter in the website must be much related to the work the website is producing. It must be very clear and to the point so the customer may not get puzzled in its text.

  • Communication

  • The communication through a web page is held between it and the customer. So it must be realized that the web design must be suitable enough for the customer.

These were some very basic things undertaken while designing a website.
