HR and the business environment


Human Resource department is an essential part of an organization in today's world. Before when there used to be no HR department, there were generally no employee rights and only the employer had its will over them. In these days, the problems of the employees used to become a big hassle in the company. Due to this reason the human resource department came into being.


Now, the HR department facilitates the company or an organization by providing different services. You can easily say that the best service regarding anything it provides is the hiring and firing of employees and dealing with their small issues, preventing the company from the mountain creation from a mole hill. This function is one of the major due to which HR department was formed. How the HR department facilitates a company is written below:


  1. Training and development
  2. Training and development of a company is decided by the HR department. Many a time there is certain necessary updating programs those should be learnt by the employees of the company, here it is the function of the HR department to research that what things could benefit the company and then give the employees the training of that.


  3. Labor relations
  4. Labor relation is the one mentioned above, it is necessary to elaborate on it more to have a better idea of it. Labor relation means to deal with the labors and their needs in accordance with the company's rules and regulation. In today's world when the rules are being at that time only the company keeps in mind the labor needs and the decision is taken by consulting the HR department. So, there are lesser chances of any mistake or mishap. But then obviously human needs are not predicted, and certain times there are some mishaps between the employer and the employee. To avoid this collision, the HR department helps this event.


  5. Strategic HR
  6. Strategic HR is the part of HR department which deals with specifically the hiring and firing of the employees. Which person is suitable for which post? What should be his salary according to his work? What are the benefits he is going to avail? All these questions are considered by this department. These personnel are fully trained and know how to manage the employee's needs within the company's limited resources.


  7. Global HR
  8. Global HR is the department only in the huge enterprises those have their setups all over the world. This global HR department deals with the strategic department in the different franchises of this enterprise. If there is any problem so the strategic HR consults the global HR and then takes the decision.
