- Advertising Advertising is an essential tool for any company or business. The HR department first advertises for a job. They advertise for the vacancy they have in their firm or company. Mostly they don't prefer to mention the salary here because they depend on the person who is working for them; if he is worth of getting a higher salary so they give him and if not sometimes he is underpaid also. All in all, HR department is responsible for the hiring of an employee.
- Selection This selection after the advertisement takes place. Here the HR department is responsible for interviewing the candidate and observing if he is fit for the job or not. In this process they have to make the decision of what should be the person paid and what should be the benefits he would be availing.
- Appointment Once they have selected a person for the job then it is the HR department's job. To provide them with the documents which are necessary for the candidate to fill before coming on the job? These include appointment letter and other documents which are alternate.
- Decision making Decision making is an essential step, for this reason the HR department is said to be experienced one. When they are hiring a person, it is their responsibility to judge the person's capabilities and then according to that fix his payment and his facilities he is going to avail.
- Employee's matter Certain times the employee is capable enough but cannot meet the company's requirements; the HR department sees whether his needs can be fulfilled. For example, if a person is capable and meeting the requirements of the job but is not comfortable with the timings so the HR department looks into this matter and arranges certain thing for him to be comfortable or makes a bit difference within the limits of the company.
- Shortage of employees Many a time, it happens that the company does not get the types of employee it is demanding or it can be said that these employees are under development according to the post. So the duty of the HR department here is too see if the employees are not fit and they don't have another option so what they should do? Certain times the company provides the employees with special trainings to develop them completely according to the job. Secondly, if not the training then the decrease their salary ratio as they aren't getting the proper work so they decrease the salary as well as the facilities being provided.
